Dr. Monberg graduated from MD Anderson Cancer Center- UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences with a PhD in Clinical Translational Oncology and Cancer Biology. She received two bachelor degrees from the University of Michigan in Biology and Evolutionary Anthropology.

Dr. Monberg's PhD dissertation work in the Maitra lab focused on applying multimodal single-cell approaches in preclinical models of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma to understand treatment refractoriness in the clinic.

​

After working in the pharmaceutical industry focusing on functional genomics, single cell analytics, and target discovery efforts, Dr. Monberg has a demonstrated professional history of directly contributing to drug development pipelines from early discovery to clinical trial introduction.

Now, in her capacity as a clinicogenomic consultant, Dr. Monberg leverages her professional expertise to deliver data-driven insights to the precision oncology space.

Jessica graduated from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business with a Master's in Finance. She also attended IU for her undergraduate degree where she received a BS in Human Resource Management and a minor in Finance.

 

With 5 years of work experience in finance and over 7 years in hospitality, Jessica has developed diverse skills and competencies that enable her to analyze, optimize, and drive business performance.

She has worked on numerous consulting projects with small businesses to support their business operations, including: website design and development, financial management, payroll services, POS and inventory management implementation, marketing, HR assistance, and more.

 

Jessica's mission is to leverage her finance and hospitality expertise to help organizations achieve their goals and grow their impact. She is passionate about collaborating with diverse teams and delivering value to customers and stakeholders.
